Wares for Breakfast and Tea

At Spode, prior to 1800, wares for breakfast and tea were made in earthenware.  With the successful development of Spode's fine bone china, the latter became a frequent, if not preferred, body used for these wares.  A variety of shapes were developed during this period, many of which are exhibited in this section.
