Description:

This very late and rare design named English Sprays was introduced c. 1829.  The shape of the cup is Persian.  This example is printed on a Felspar porcelain body in green underglaze with enameling over the glaze . In addition to the printed mark, the saucer has an impressed number 16, a number occurring on Felspar pieces indicating the china body type.
