Description:

This charming bone china beehive-shaped covered honey pot was printed in blue underglaze in the Temple pattern.  The pattern is also known as Two Temples I, Variation Temple.  The shape is illustrated in three sizes on page 20 in the 1820 Shape Book (page link provided below).  Click on the image below for another enlarged view.
