Spode's Union Wreath Third pattern is exhibited on a New Indented tea plate in blue underglaze. Although it is numbered third by Leonard Whiter, this was probably the first production of a Union Wreath pattern, circa 1822. It is chiefly found on earthenware and, less frequently, on New Stone.
