Description:

This version of the Queen Charlotte pattern is shown on a round earthenware tea plate.  The earthenware version, referred to by Robert Copeland as Bridge I, does not have butterflies in the border and is without the inner border, or nankin, that is found on the other version of the pattern also known as Queen Charlotte or Bridge II .
