Description:

Spode's Honeysuckle and Parsley pattern is exhibited on a handled earthenware dessert dish in blue underglaze.  The border is the honeysuckle while the background is a sheet pattern named Parsley.  The first illustration of Honeysuckle and Parsley appearing in the pattern books is 3244 of 1820, which suggests that the pattern was introduced around 1820.
