Description:

Exhibited here is a large earthenware platter printed in Payne's Grey underglaze. The central pattern consists of a symmetrical design of four flower or leaf motifs separated by trailing flowers. The pattern is considered somewhat rare.  Examples in two other colors, blue and blue with red colored in,  are included in this exhibition.
