Pattern Category: European and Mediterranean Object Type: Dinner and Dessert Wares Description: This circular super set, nestled in a mahogany tray, is comprised of four covered earthenware sections and a center piece transfer-printed in underglaze blue with Spode's Rome pattern. The cover of the center dish has been removed, and placed to the side, revealing the inside components which include four frame egg cups and a small divided salt and pepper dish that rest on a stand. The center dish was also equipped with an inner liner that could be used to serve hot dishes. Drakard/Holdway Pattern Number P713 |
