A Representation of the Manufacturing of Earthenware, 1827

From the collections of Winterthur Museum, Garden & Library, this pamphlet, published in 1827, illustrates the full process of pottery production in Stoke-on-Trent. Although it is not credited, Enoch Wood's manufactory provided the basis for these engraved illustrations.  They form one of the best records of early 19th century English pottery manufacturing available.
