Description:

This pattern is printed in blue underglaze on an indented earthenware supper set segment base.  The actual history behind this scene is unknown, but the pattern shows four figures in battle. This specific example  has the panels outlined in water-green. This pattern is a variation of P906-9 as shown below on an idented earthenware dish.

This pattern was introduced in 1806.
