Description:

Exhibited on an earthenware hot water dish is Spode's English Sprays pattern printed in blue underglaze.  This is a rare design introduced in 1829. There is a molded border instead of the stringing usually found at the edge of the border.  Look to the right to see the pattern printed on the outside of the dish.
