Description:

This earthenware teapot is printed in underglaze blue with the Milkmaid pattern, first introduced in 1814 or 1815.  The border used here is the same as that found in the Tower pattern.   A top view  of the teapot is also shown.  Spode's mark 35 is faintly-printed on the underside  of the teapot.  Click on the image at the right to enlarge it.
